Meet Chelsie & Cody who are the CUTEST couple ever!! They have known each other since grade 5!! It’s was so fun to watch them intertwine, love and laugh together. It was a cold day but that didn’t stop us from frolicking around the farm that Chelsie grew up in and they are currently staying in until their house is finish being built. This is also where their wedding is going to take place!! We can’t wait until their big day! Here are a few words from this sweet couple!

When is the big day?

How did you meet?

Chelsie: In grade 5 when I moved to Crossfield (our home town) he was in my home room class and he was “dating” my first friend. She was like “Oh that’s Cody, he’s MY boyfriend”

Cody: We met in the 5th grade

When you first met what did you notice first?

Chelsie: I actually thought he was super cute, but I knew he was off limits because his girlfriend was my new friend.

Cody: First thing I noticed about Chelsie was her big brown eyes and she had dirty blonde hair cut at shoulder length.

How did he propose?

Chelsie: We/I planned a mini getaway to Canmore because we needed some time away just us since we are bouncing back and forth between his parents and mine. Cody had the idea to go for a hike at Grassy Lakes and wanted to bring his Mom’s tripod so we could take cute pictures together..I loved it! So we headed up the mountain and took some photos. Cody then found “the perfect spot” and we took 3 photos with the tripod. He told me the camera was crooked so we had to try one more time. At this point, I was getting quite cold and was ready to go back. He then pressed record and came to me and we were ready to say “Cheese” and it wasn’t blinking. Next thing I knew, he was down on one knee. The best moment of my life!

Cody: I took her on a hike in Canmore Ab, and I brought a camera and tripod to take pictures of us on our hike. When I found “the spot”, I set up the camera and filmed the whole thing. She had no idea and was beyond surprised.

Favourite thing about each other?

Chelsie: His overall personality. Cody can light up a room when he walks in. He is so outgoing! He can strike up a conversation with almost anyone and I love that about him! I am also so in love with his beautiful blue eyes,

Cody: My favourite thing about Chelsie is her drive to be the best she can be and pushes me to do the same. She does this in all aspects, such as eating, working out, professional life, etc.

If you could give one word to describe each other what would that word be?

Chelsie: Perfect. He is literally the perfect guy…I know cheesy right.

Cody: I would describe Chelsie with the word “Tidy”

Your idea of a perfect date?

Chelsie: I love the idea of having a picnic by a lake in a cute little spot while the sun is setting and asking each other random questions about one another.

Cody: My idea of a perfect date would be just Chelsie and I on a beach that has no one but us on it and we could do whatever we feel like doing.

What are you looking forward to the most on your wedding day?

Chelsie: I cannot wait to walk down the aisle and marry the man of my dreams!

Cody: The thing I’m looking forward to the most is seeing my beautiful bride walking down the isle towards me. I’m probably going to cry!!!
