Meet Keli & David! These two were kind enough to put their love on display downtown Calgary. This takes a great deal of courage especially when you are shy and nervous being in front of the camera. I am pretty sure Keli thought that I wasn’t going to be able to get one good photograph so I had to prove her wrong. She is gorgeous, he is handsome and they did an amazing job AND they managed to have a great time to boot!

I love that I am able to peek into these sacred moments in peoples lives. I still have to pinch myself that I get to do a job where I am paid to capture those cherished and beautiful parts of people. What an honor it is. Every day I wake up feeling grateful to do what I do.

David is a firefighter and he is also a photographer. They are currently building a house not to far from where Mike and I reside. It will include a studio so I am really looking forward to see the work that David produces once its up and running. Keli & David are super sweet and sooo easy going! Just overall great people! I know they are and will continue to be successful in whatever they do.

We are really looking forward to their wedding day. I have made Keli a promise that regardless of being nervous, we will still get amazing shots. I told her that I am just a girl, with a camera that makes funny clicking noises. We are going to have another amazing day with these two and we will be sure to blog! Lots of love – Shawna & Mike.
