Meet Linda & Greg. They are such a lovely couple. Sweet, calm, kind, adventurous, smart and fun. They are definitely in love and I am so glad that we photographed their session during the sweet light as it’s romantic just like them. They were up for anything and I love that about them! To catch this wonderful light we were still shooting at 9:30 pm and they were all for it! These two have a connection that is really pretty to document and we are so happy that they chose us to do so.

When is the big day?

How did you meet?
– We had both just moved to Calgary, and met through mutual friends. The timing wasn’t quite right at first, but after a few attempts and missed calls, we met up again a year later, and the rest is history.

When you met what was the first thing that you noticed about him/her?
– Linda: His Eyes
– Greg: Her Smile

How did he propose?
– Greg and I love to travel, and we usually like to do one big trip a year, but we hadn’t gone on a big trip for a couple of years since I started a new job, and Greg decided to return back to school and finish his ecomonics degree. After Greg was done school, in September of last year, Greg took me on a trip to New York, and carried around the ring the entire trip. On the last day, to cap off an amazing trip, he proposed.

What do you love about each other?
– Linda: Greg is the kindest person I know. He is sooo selfless, and always so willing to go out of his way to help me or anyone else.
– Greg: She is very passionate in everything she does. She is very driven and always pushes me to go above and beyond.

Favourite hangout?
– Cuddling on the couch

Favourite thing to do together?
– Greg’s my best friend. I enjoy doing most things with him. We like to try new things, and experience things together, so if it’s traveling, learning to snowboard, cooking something new, we always have the best time. There’s no one that I laugh the most with than him.

What are you looking forward to most on your big day?
– Linda: Finally saying “I do” 🙂 and calling him my ‘husband’. We can’t wait to be married!
– Greg: Obviously the cake 🙂 After 10+ years of calling Linda my gf I am most looking forward to calling her my wife. Seeing family and friends is cool too.
