Meet Sandra & Pedja! This was their wedding celebration that I am so happy to say that we were a part of it. They had already gotten married in Cuba but still wanted to share in the celebrations with their family and friends as they are very important to them. It was a COLD winter day and I am so proud how these two toughed it out! I think Pedja turned a couple shades of blue but he managed to keep his chattering teeth under control. Now Sandra LOVES photography and I think if was -20 she would have still been running around in her wedding dress for those shots. We were a bit behind when we arrived to the first location. The natural light disappeared quickly of which we didn’t mind at all. This was a chance to get the studio lights out and take all sorts of unique evening shots. We had a blast!

Their reception was so much fun! Everyone was laughing and hugging. I love weddings where you can tell that everyone is close and supportive of one another. That being said, Sandra and Pedja are SOOO in love and they are a PERFECT match. I remember one story that stands out. Pedja had just received a new company vehicle. It was a van. He was excited to arrive home and show Sandra & Roxy (puppers). Off they went for a ride. Pedja asked “so what do you think of the new truck”. Sandra said “well I don’t really like it because you are so far away and it’s hard to hold hands”. You see there was quite a distance between the driver’s seat and the passenger’s seat. That story made me smile as it pretty much sums up their relationship. They love each other and do not like to be apart. They are a true team and I know they will have a wonderful, happy marriage.
