Let’s start off with telling you that I just LOVE these two. They are the most sweetest, genuine, caring, easy going, down to earth people you would ever want to spend your time with. They have been an absolute pleasure to spend time with. Their friends and family are an exact mirror of them. The energy of the wedding was light, caring, full of laughter and tears. There were so many little moments that happened during the day that made it really special. I could have blogged hundreds of images capturing pure, raw emotion but I wanted there to be some surprises left over for my amazing couple. Example of a moment: I was doing some portraits of Tara and some ducks decided to walk in between us. They were so cute and all Tara and I could do is giggle and hope that they let me take some pictures of them. During the ceremony a hawk dived into the water making a big noise and then happily flew off. It was almost as though he was celebrating too. Tara & Bryan…remember when I said I wasn’t sure if I got a shot of him…..well I DID!!! We captured the hawk and ducks!!

You will see from the images that the detail & decor of this wedding was amazing. I was stunned when the flowers arrived to the hotel. I have NEVER seen such beautiful arrangements. They were pieces of art done by “A New Leaf Floral Design”. The decor was jaw dropping which was done by their good friend Yuriko Larson who owns “Vintage Origami”. If you get married in Kelowna these two are a must!!

I could go on and on of how perfect this day was. On our drive home we were chatting amongst each other and came to the conclusion that there wasn’t one moment where the day didn’t move along smoothly with grace. Tara and Bryan trusted us with their day even to the point that we all agreed when we all saw the sweet light we would leave the reception to capture even more amazon shots…..and that we did!!

Tara and Bryan, thank you sooooo much for letting us share your big day with you. It’s a wedding that I wish we could experience all over again. I know you two are madly in love and I have no doubt that you are going to live the most amazing life together! Lots of love – Shawna, Mike & Stephan
