Regardless that it windy with snow and then rain Juvy & Trevor’s Moraine Lake wedding was amazing! These two people are beautiful human beings inside and out. We walked up to the lookout at Moraine Lake and by the time we reached the top it was super windy with snow but it didn’t even phase these two!! The moody lighting was welcomed and added a touch of drama to the dreamy mountain backdrop.  Then there was a brief sprinkle of soft rain that eventually cleared up by the time we reached section portrait location just outside of Banff. Below are a few shots from their big day as a few comments from Trevor about his beautiful bride Juvy.  Thank you Juvy & Trevor for inviting me to be apart of this day! I was and am honoured! 

• Q. How did you meet?
  A. The modern way! Being divorced my kids put me on an online dating site and picked Juvy’s profile and poof three years later we are getting married in the snow!
• Q. When you first met, what did you notice first?
  A. Juvy’s smile. Both of us at the time were single parents starting online dating which is stressful enough but her smile was the first thing I noticed. It was easy to see that her positive outlook on life, that joy, was the reason for her smile and to this day her smile is the reason for my joy.  
• Q. How did you propose?
  A. Well how does anyone propose to a proud Filipina girl? Via Karaoke of course! At her full family gathering on Christmas Eve a couple of years ago I did my best (wasn’t good or in tune) Ed Sheeran to serenade her with the song “How would you feel”. I proposed at the end of the song on bended knee.
• Q. Your favourite thing about her?
  A. My favourite thing about Juvy is her heart. She is the most family focused, strong willed, passionate, empathetic and supportive person I have ever met and that fire for life is powered by a great engine… a great heart.  
• Q. If you could give one word to describe her…what would it be?
  A. Vivacious

  A. My favourite dates with Juvy have been … 
  Vegas Road Trip – Great meal, an adult play like Absinthe and an Oilers – Knights game
  2 hour hike to top of a mountain to enjoy views together 
  Motorcycle trip to a new town ending with some great food and drinks
