Sanela & Ryan’s wedding was about as intimate, cozy and beautiful as it gets. Both of their families are just lovely! I finally got to meet Sanela’s parents and let’s just say it wasn’t long before I was puddling up due to the emotion in the air.

We were all concerned about the rain but we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day. When it did finally start to pour….we JUST walked through the door to the reception. It was picture perfect day! When I arrived Sanela was giddy with excitement, combined with a little nervousness. She is on the shy side and doesn’t like to be the centre of attention but I am pretty sure as soon as she started to walk towards Ryan during the ceremony all of those feelings quickly went away. I am not sure who was smiling more, her or Ryan. The energy in the air was beautiful.

The ceremony couldn’t have been more beautiful with the view and the smiles. From there we went to the lake as Sanela had a surprise for Ryan! She arranged to have the guitar player follow us so that they could have their first dance on the dock. Yes..I shot through my tears…AGAIN!

You will notice I posted an enormous amount of images! I couldn’t help myself! I especially owed it to these two as they trekked through the woods to get to a couple of locations. This is what I love about Sanela & Ryan…we suggested it….they were up for it. We would shoot and then tuck Sanela and her dress back in our car and then we were off to the next spot!!

Sanela & Ryan, I adore you both. Your day–every single moment–was perfect, real, raw, and a true depiction of your love. You’re incredibly blessed with an amazing family and friends and I was honored to be a small part in documenting your first day as husband and wife.
